I’m looking for more textures for Layout. Have all the simple straight lines/building materials (none of which are very detailed or correct) - There is no wood grain option. Any way to import? Can’t see the option anywhere. They don’t follow through in SketchUp, as I can’t seem to add textures to section fills.
You can add patterns through the dropdown list in the Patterns panel. At least that’s how it is in LO2026. I expect it’s the same in LO2022 which your profile indicates you are using.
Either add a single raster image or add a custom collection.
Raster image choices are these:
I usually add .png images with the background transparent to allow the pattern to be combined with fill color.
You can probably find an existing image on the web or you could make your own.
I just use layout itself to create these; it works a treat!
