Mind ye: ‘Sage’ is four letter word itself…
Maybe this one?
Thanks. Downloaded it ok, but it’s totally unusable. Unlike the tutorial video the extension is not in tools (where it’s meant to be). Instead it is sat in preferences where it can be persuaded to do nothing.
Turn it ON in Preferences then look for it in Tools to run…
but on the Under sea model, just use Select a face >> All With Same Material >> Make Group >> Hide…
when you only have lines left >> Select All >> Delete >> Unhide All…
you then have a much easier job in fixing all the other issues…

Ok, got it working now. I re-stared the PC and it was on the top toolbar, though still not in tools. Incidentally, did the cleanup you performed for me involve you manually removing the faces of the overshot intersections before letting the extension remove the lines? I guess there’s no other way the program would know what is rubbish?
That was @Geo, not me.
Is it delete stray lines you are looking for? If so it is here, but does not delete all the" low" hangers + you need to run more than once.

Sorry, that’s being over 50 for you. I’ll be asking if it was your cat that dumped on our lawn later…
I cleaned up the model ‘the old fashioned way’ with the Eraser, Select Tool and Delete
Actually, that’s the only way it could be cleaned up.
Todd’s Stray Lines and Thom’s CleanUp³ extensions aren’t much use here.
No extension can sort through such clutter and make the right decisions.
Chipping away dozens of unnecessary faces within the ‘rocks’ was a bit arduous.
And fixing the checkerboard of reversed faces was none too quick.
Well thanks again. At least I’ll know next time!
