When I select the Paintbucket the Material browser does not open or appear on my screen

Try Preferences>Workspace>Reset Workspace.
tried that a couple of times including restarting the program. No success
Did you install SketchUp by right clicking on the installer and selecting Run as administrator?
maybe I should try that now. Should I de-install?
I would Uninstall and reinstall it with Run as administrator.
