Why i can't find the midpoint of the 2d top face square that surrounds the group?

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, in the tutorial that I was watching the guy find it super quickly.

on mac, when you hover over a group with the move tool, by pressing command I can change the grab points from corners of to midpoints

On PC it should be alt.

take the move tool, place your mouse on the group or component, and check at the bottom, it’ll tell you what alt, shift and ctrl do.

here are the 3 situations :
