Why does the Orbit tool in Sketchup Make 2016 not work properly

Disable ‘Use hardware acceleration’ in menu Window > Preferences > OpenGL.
Restart SketchUp and see if orbiting works properly now.
If so, update your graphics card driver and enable ‘Use hardware acceleration’ again.
