Hi,
Mandatory apology for stupid question…
I have exported my sketchup model as a DXF to be read by CAD software used at the CNC place I’m sending it to. However, they have said that the model is currently on the ZX plane, not the YX. I know that I need to relocate my model within the scene, but my problem is that I can’t see any labelling on the axis to know which colour is X, Y or Z.
Please help!
Thanks in advance.
Red and green is XY and blue is Z… As i know red is X…

@wjb2222, use the ‘Text’ tool on an endpoint in 3D space and you’ll see which is which, according to the displayed three values:
- first value = (red) horizontal distance to the origin (left<>right in Top view)
- second value = (green) horizontal distance to the origin (up<>down in Top view)
- third value = (blue) = vertical distance to the origin (up<>down in any Side view)
