Where do I design Kitchen cabinetry?

Hello I am brand-new to Sketchup and I am a cabinet maker. Im lost. I am using a MAC desktop and have Sketchup Pro. I don’t know where to start or what program or extension to use to layout kitchen cabinets. Please help and thank you =)

Are you talking about laying out a kitchen design based on standard commercially available cabinets, or are you talking about actually fabricating the cabinets themselves? There are solutions for either.

You should first learn the basics here SketchUp Fundamentals (Desktop)

Then I recommend you to learn how to make dynamic components if you are going to make modular melamine furniture.

Yes I need to make 3-D renditions to show my customers. I’m not using CNC so I don’t need anything too advanced. Also I am better at building than computers so hopefully not super difficult as well.

Well, if you’re a beginner at SketchUp itself, you need basic training as @francisquitof pointed to already. SketchUp has a YouTube channel with lots of videos from short subjects to long projects:

The Friday livestreams are fun to watch and help get comfortable with the process. They are recorded and posted on their channel so you can go back and pick what interests you.

For cabinets, you can make anything from scratch and reuse them, or use some dynamic components made by others. I’ve found the ones from KraftMaid in 3D Warehouse to be useful. If they don’t have the exact thing you need, you can often start with a standard cabinet, explode the dyamic component, and customize it to whatever you want.
