I guess I over stated my newbieness, I have been to FlashForge and am now looking for alternatives to the stock software. I am interested in doing “real” work, not making tiny toys. Particularly interested in making things from vidieos.

Hi,
I’m a amateur of drawing especially in 3D.
I’m a teacher and we show SketchUp at school for students
Even thought I’m a teacher, I use it not professionnaly and not only for school purpose.
I use sketchUp for personnal use and to drawing mechanical parts for fun or house and furnitures.
I consider that I’m an intermediate user.
I learned it by myself, try and error, help forum etc.
I use it on my Lap-top with Windows 10 and Intel HD graphics 4000 graphic card.
I prefer 2017 version then on the web.
I plan to put things in warehouse but I did’nt yet.
There is no beach around here!
I speak french as you probably saw with my langage error.

Around here, the legend is that Frisbees originated from the pie plates used by the Frisbie Pie Company in Bridgeport, CT. It looks like Wikipedia could use some stronger references, though.

Hi,
I´m not an expert on the matter, but my friend is. He made the only documentary movie about the history of frisbee sports. The movie is called “The invisible string”. Maybe you want to check it out.
I am a very practical frisbee guy. I play Ultimate and Disc Golf and do a lot of youth trainings. I am also an official licensed trainer trainer from german Frisbeessports Association.

My name is Debi Lundquist

I have been designing new homes, additions and remodels for almost 30 years

I use Sketchup professionally

I would still call myself a beginner. I have been using Sketchup for over a year, but most of my work is done in AutoCad LT and/or SolidBuilder. I am hoping that one day I can use Sketchup without them.

I have 2 setups. Desktop-Dell Inspiron 5675 w/AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, 32 gigs RAM, AMD Radeon RX580
Laptop-MacBook Pro, circa 2015

“Why do you use SketchUp and what is your favorite thing about it?” I have been stupid busy for the last year (or 2) and I’m trying to learn new programs on the fly. My dream is to only use one program to do all of my work. My favorite thing about SU is being able to model the terrain although I’m not very proficient at it yet.

Greetings from a perpetual Sketchup beginner! I swoop in with an idea to Sketch. Up. every couple of months and then try to remember what the tools do. Mostly I am drawing up projects/repairs for Burrows Island Light Station, near Anacortes, Washington, so I can explain to the rest of the crew what I’m proposing. Then the idea gets refined and passed onto the State Historic Preservation Officer, and finally the US Coast Guard for approval. No pressure.

See the pretty picture of the pretty light station sunset here: Burrows Island Light Station

Any wonder why I hang out there?

I’m pretty sure this is in the wrong category…

Hi I am Alan Taylor (daast2000)
I am a Chartered Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, specialising mostly in industry
I use SketchUp at home for my own use
I already have MicroStation for CAD work, which is a bit heavy for simple houses and I came across SketchUp when looking something more intuitive for designing a PassHaus home for my self, and designing homes for friends.
I have been very surprised how quickly I have been able to produce very good 3D drawings, still learning and keen to do so
I use a Windows 7 pro on a PC but will be changing to an Apple to develop my SketchUp skills.
I enjoy design and life, but think Brexit is national suicide
