If you are referring to the desktop version of SketchUp with a SketchUp for Education license, you should be able to add watermarks as part of editing a style. Same as with a Pro or Studio subscription.
I don’t know that there’s a watermarked style by default with that version like there is with SketchUp for Schools and SketchUp Free which are web-based free versions.
Why do you ask?
I am just curious because like AutoCAD for education, there is a watermark that says “For education use only” when they print a drawing. Is this the same case as Sketchup for Education whether it is Sketchup for Students or Sketchup for University.
I see what you’re getting at. There is not a watermark in SketchUp for Desktop with an Education license. If the the concern is related to not wanting a watermark on output for commercial purposes, the education license does not permit use for commercial purposes.
honestly I remember my student years working in the print shop, the main concern wasn’t commercial purposes, it was just the pain of having to remove 4 watermarks per pdf whenever you exported anything. I remember seeing people export dozen of pdfs to then place in a global layout in indesign (stuff like 8+ A0 sheets). I actually first learned illustrator just for that, to edit the pdfs before printing them.
limitations in SU are not branded with a red hot watermark, you don’t get Vray as part of the pack, you can’t do commercial jobs, I’m pretty sure you have to show proof of enrolment on renewal every year otherwise you’ll switch to a normal sub.
