[Vray] What are these black bars on the screen?

I was editing some groups when I realized I ended up with these transparent bars on each side of the screen that are really annoying. What can I do to get rid of them?

do you have vRay?

or did you set a camera with Advanced Camera Tools…

yes, I have vray. Does that just mean a window is open somewhere?

This is called “safe frame” which is activated by Vray.

The most recent update of Vray has disabled this feature by default as people were running into issues like this.

Either you can disable from safe frame from Vray,

or you can “reset camera” (Tools>Advanced Camera Tools>Reset camera)
