VRAY CPU vs GPU rendering image difference?

Hi, i just bought my first graphics card in order to render images with VRAY but now with GPU acceleration the image looks completely different. The glass is opaque even though the transparency settings are ok. What can i do ?

Hi mike3,
I have slightly different color of glass.

Left image is rendered CPU, Right image is rendered with GPU

Thanks Robert, at least now i know it’s not just me, i guess i’ll try to adjust the settings.

Can you post your images? I guess your glass is modeled as single plane?

Hi Robert, i’ll post pictures next week cause my v-ray monthly license just expired. Yes i think it’s single plane, i’m fairly new at this

This is the diference between the CPU and GPU render with V-ray 3.4

I tried so many settings but i cant figure out what exactly i need to tweak

CPU (left dome glass as simple planes, right dome glass with thickness 1cm)

GPU (left dome glass as simple planes, right dome glass with thickness 1cm)

I think the difference is in fog multiplier (Vray material/refraction)

Thank you Robert ! I eventually found some ok settings for GPU but the fog multiplier tip is very useful ! Thanks !!!
