when I import a vray asset ( tree) is there a way to have more detail of the asset within sketchup? I am seeing a cloud shaped proxy.
The trees look that way in Sketchup, but render full res like the thumbnail in the Chaos browser. It helps to keep Sketchup perfomant. I don’t think there is a way to have them full res in Sketchup.

Why do you need more detail? The idea of proxys is to save hardware resources by showing the minimum geometry possible.
sketch up plan for on-site work( installation) some detail is required to convey ideas.
