V-Ray for OS and SU 2026

I’ve just been made aware that V-Ray for SketchUp Studio apparently not available for Mac OS for Su 2026. I installed the update from SU 2025 and it does not inlcude V-Ray which my Studio Subscription includes. This is forcing me to do a ridiculous workaround where I draw in SU 2026, save the file, and re-open in my still-operational SU 2025 version which has a perfectly functioning V-Ray installation and do the rendering there. Clearly, this is not Trimble’s intent. Working through Chaos, V-ray’s source, has been difficult. All you do is work with annonymous chats and get pat answers. It’s making me very unhappy. And I refuse to install a parallel Windows DOS on my Mac. I’ve done that in the past with older versions of CorelDraw and it was AWFUL!

Anyone have any insights into what’s going on?

Forum search.

I’d swear that V-ray for SketckUp was not on MY product list in Chaos several days again when this problem of not having V-Ray 7 loading with my upgraded SU 2026. After chats and posts and working with person I know in Trimble, I went back to the MY PRODUCTS list on the Chaos site and there was the MAC version of the latest V-Ray product for SketchUp 2026. I just installed it and all is good! Thanks to anyone who responded to this post.

It takes a while to kick in and often it doesn’t appear in the list - because you’ve not bought it from chaos, you’ve bought it from trimble.

You’ll see it in the license server though.
