V-Ray CUDA Error 700 in SketchUp – Possible Cause and Request for Help

Hello,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue while rendering with V-Ray in SketchUp. Occasionally, I receive the following error:

Error [V-Ray] C:\GitLab\builds\V8fLbpDx\0\aec\appsdk-builder\cgrepo\vraysdk\s(1943) : CUDA error 700
[V-Ray] [MemoryManagerGpu::releaseUnmappedMemoryFromInstance] 700: Could not release device buffer

After this error, the rendering process fails. To fix it temporarily, I usually copy the model and manually try to find the problematic block by deleting parts one by one. This method works, but it’s time-consuming and frustrating to repeat over and over.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? What could be causing it, and is there a more efficient way to detect or avoid problematic geometry or components that trigger CUDA error 700?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
