Hey guys,

Im designing some event space for a conference and really struggling to add some nice lighting effects to my renders, I have mastered the spot light haha but cant seem to find a way to give the room a nice ambient glow and some green up lighting on the walls is proving difficult at the moment, Just wondering if any kind soul has any tips ! before you shoot off to Vray Forum,

some general advice is that interior would need proper lightings in order to make the view convincing.

you can use omni lights (which is hidden by defaut) just float them in the middle of the room.

Also, rectangle lights make the lighting most convincing (you have to make them invisible and prevent them from touching any other geometry)

spot lights aren’t necessarily good light source, they are good to highlight areas.

hope that helps.
