I`m using components that was made in solid works with the file type being converted to sketch up. i am finding that sketch-up is struggling with the solid works file. Has anyone got any advice on what the possible causes are? is this down to sketchup or the computer specs, it seems to struggle with basic commands after the import such as copy and past and doesnt move the object smoothly
You may have imported something with millions of polygons that is slowing SketchUp down. Have a look at the Model Info → Statistics to see how many Faces and Edges you have.
