Dear team,

I am using Sketchup pro-2017.

whenever I start SketchUp pro application, I get a prompt, asking newer Version of Sketchup is available.

I want to know if can I download a newer version of Sketchup pro under the same serial number / License.

Normally, SketchUp only checks for more recent updates to the version you are using. Sometimes though it seems to pick up on the next major release update.

Check the Help menu, About SketchUp, and see if it says 17.2.2555. If it does, then that is the latest Windows version.

Every mayor version of the perpetual license has another serial number…

actually it has the same serial no besides the first letter denoting the concerning version:

But the auth. code is actually different.

I know about the numbers being the same, but I count the letter as part of the serial, so then it would be different…
