Will this work for you…download and install the current version of SU Make that will work for your PC. Open the 3D Warehouse file you need in Make and then Save as v8 SU file. Open in your version of Pro and away you go!

I wanted to suggest to use the extension Eneroth Open Newer Version to open downloaded 3DWH files in your SU8Pro, but even that does not mention SU8 support.

Glad to hear that you’re interested in upgrading to the newest version of SketchUp! We’ve been working hard since SU 8 came out and there have been a lot of improvements.
