Is there any way to recover an unsaved layout file? It crashed before I could save my work…

Probably a long shot but look in YourUserName/AppData/Local/SketchUp/SketchUp 2025/LayOut/working and see if there’s a file from just before the crash. If so, select the contents inside the file and zip them up. (I use 7Zip for that.) After that change the extension from .zip to .layout. Fingers crossed it’s there and will open in LO. If it does, immaediately use File>Save as … And save it in a local folder.

Wow… that was crazy, but it worked after I found the correct folder under the “working” directory. Thanks @DaveR, you’re the best.
