I am about to purchase SketchUP Pro. I have been using the basic SketchUP 2016 for a while. My question is, should I uninstall SketchUP 2016 before downloading (purchasing) SketchUP Pro?

keep both until you finish the 30 day trial and are happy with v2020…

An additional point: Each major version of SketchUp installs separately so you can have multiple versions installed.
