Hi, my skp file has been corrupted i am using sup 2023. Can anyone assist me on this?, My project is due tommorrow. I have the skb file but it is still the same unexpected file format. Thank you. I really hope the file can be restored.

Saved as SU version 2023.1

If neither of these files will work for you try opening them with the online Sketchup app.

OMG!!! THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH NOW I CAN OPEN IT.
I tried countless times but couldn’t open it and it showed me the error somehow but now I can thanks to you. You really saved my final year project as i am a degree architecture student.
There was a new release of Sketchup in the last few days that automatically fixes several problems like the one you had. Here’s the link to the installer https://help.sketchup.com/en/downloading-sketchup

You 'll probably get a quicker help if you start a new thread for your problem file. Also, you’ll need to provide access to the file from your Google Drive.
It would also help if you put the correct information in your forum profile.
