Unable to upload New Materials from computer

I just upgraded from 2019 SketchUp to 2020 and I’m unable to create a new texture in the color palette. I’ve never had this issue before. The problem occurs after selecting the texture file to upload. Rather than a panel appearing asking for the texture name and to set the width and height size - An error noise is made and nothing appears.

Has anyone had this issue? Or knows how to correct it?

There should be no difference in 2020 compared to 2019, and I do see the dialog appear. Have you tried loading different image types? Could you show an example file that fails to open?
