Unable to update plugin on Extension Warehouse - Error: Request failed with status code 401

Hi guys,

Is anyone else having trouble uploading extension updates on the Extension Warehouse / Developer Portal?

Every time I try to submit an updated plugin, the upload fails and I get this error:

Error! Request failed with status code 401

I’ve already tried:

  • Logging out and re-logging into my Trimble account

  • Clearing browser cache and cookies

  • Trying an Incognito / Private browsing window

  • Using a different web browser

The 401 error persists despite these steps. Is this a temporary issue with Trimble’s authentication server, or is there a work-around for this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We are seeing this internally too. It appears to be intemittent so if you keepretrying enough times it might go through.

We’ll raise it with the EW team when they get online.
