Unable to open a file after sudden sketchup crash - recovery please?

Hi all,
Sorry for me frenchy english.
I had several crashes today, with the same working file for a customer project.
Last crash was fatal, as it’s now impossible for me to open my file, with a popup message about data integrity…
Some hours spent, so I’d like to know if someone here can help me to restore or fix the file ??
Thanks by advance for the support
Regards,
Vincent

There are some people here with the skills to investigate and possibly recover some of your file.
But not if you don’t share the model…

First question: Where were you saving your file? On your computers harddrive / ssd, or somewhere else like the cloud, external HD, USB stick or network drive?
If on your computers internal storage, is the folder you are saving to, live synched to the cloud or elsewhere?

Thanks for your answer. Shall I share the file via a link to a sharing plateform like rapidshare ?
I saved the file on my SSD. The folder is synched to a cloud, but not in live

One particularity about this file is that I imported a dxf file in it to work on my customer house area.
Maybe the mistake is coming from it

If your file is bigger than 16MB, you can use any sharing platform like we-transfer, dropbox etc.
Make sure the file is set to public so people here can actually acces it here, and share the link here in a reply.
If you don’t want to make your model public, you’ll have to wait till someone offers to have a look and share it private whith them…

all right. Transfer in progress, TY

Edit : here it is :

Another advice: Use Trimble Connect (included whith your Pro subscription) to backup your files!

here is the link :

2024-25.skp (3.0 MB)

Opened in a latest SU, there was an error ( failed file integrity checks. and some Tag size was incorrect). Then purged out unused assets and saved…

I hope you learn something from this…
The file dezmo saved is 2,9% of your original file…
Learn how to purge on a regular basis.
Stuff you import from the 3D Warehouse is not gone after you delete it from the model space!
It is kept in your model file untill you purge.

@dezmo I got the same error as you but 2024 (latest version) was not able to open it and bugsplat on me… Any thoughts on why you were able to open it??

Yes. I know why. I can’t tell more.

Try opening it in current web version, it is usually slightly ahead of the desktop version.

Maybe you could tell me, but then you would have to kill me…

That worked, but purging unused components made it crash..
