Hello,
After a Windows system failure, I had to reinstall SketchUp Pro 2020. I own a valid perpetual license — I have both the serial number and the authorization code.
I contacted SketchUp Support and requested a license deactivation/reset, which they confirmed was completed. However, every time I try to activate the license, I receive the following error message:
“Error…
The combination of the serial number and authorization code is incorrect.
Please check your license and try again.
(Tip: copy and paste is the best option, but you can also type the number manually.)
Authorization codes can be found in your license email or in the license management option.
For more license troubleshooting tips, see this Help Center article.”
I have double-checked my license details and entered them correctly (both manually and via copy-paste), but the error persists.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is there still any way to activate SketchUp Pro 2020 — for example via offline activation — or any other method that would allow me to legally use my perpetual license?
Maybe someone from the technical support team is here who could help verify my license on the server and check if my serial number and authorization code — provided at purchase — are still valid and matching?
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.
Best regards, Tobiasz
