Trouble getting rid of Internal Geometries

Hello SU Community,

I am attempting to make this a solid object, so I’m trying to get rid of the internal geometries. When I go into x-ray view I can see them and delete them manually, but then it leaves large gaps on the external faces. Internal Geometries - Album on Imgur

This is where I’m having problems. I’m attempting to draw those faces back in with the line tool, but I just can’t figure out how to do it. Sometimes I get lucky and the line a lay down actually creates a face, but most of the time what I’m doing does not fill the gaps in those faces. Could someone please help me with this? I’ve attached the file for reference. Thanks so much in advance.

Select all of the geometry, right click, choose Intersect Faces>With Selection. Then hide the surface you want to keep so you can see the internal faces you need to get rid of. For example at the bottom point.

Once you have those intersections (shown selected, you can erase those inner faces.

Also reverse the faces. You have all back faces exposed. That’ll create problems when you try to print.

It should have all white front faces out like this.
