Trouble copying and pasting groups with attributes inside dynamic component

Hi,

I am trying to edit a dynamic component with multiple groups and sub-groups. Some groups only differ in dimensions and origin, so I started copying and pasting groups on the same hierarchy level. It looks like the attributes of the copied and pasted groups are related and cannot be severed by renaming group names.They even become broken. Attribute values refer to the correct attribute names, but are shown red and do not work. My groups are strictly hierarchical and refer to the parent attribute names only.

Is there a correct way to copy groups in dynamic components?
I tried using sub-components, but the issue is the same?
What do I miss here?

Ok, after posting I found some posts with the same issue I have. I installed Deep Make Unique and it works for me, but it is more like a workaround of the underlying issue.

The handling of attributes in DC is not intuitive and should be solved for a transparent experience.
