when i start to use sketchup for web it wants me to choose between google and trimble connect. what is the benefit to me as a woodworker at home in trimble connect?
If you already have a Google account, you can use that to sign into SketchUp for Web. Alternatively, if you have a Trimble account, you can use that to sign in.
Either way, your models will be stored on Trimble Connect, which is our cloud-based file storage service. Connect allows you to do a number of things with your models beyond just storing them, but that’s the easiest way to think about it at the beginning.
