I’m fairly new to Sketchup, designing a wood project and really enjoying the process, but as my model got more complex I decided to upgrade my account. I’m using a Macbook Pro and have really enjoyed the trackpad support in the Web version, where I can hold Shift or Control along with a 2-finger scroll gesture, which works really well. But I was very disappointed that the Pro version doesn’t appear to have this feature. I even installed the brand new 2023 edition, but don’t see any sign that it was added.
Has this been yet updated? Just encountering this issue 3 years later .. is it true my laptop trackpad is more efficient in web version than pro desktop version?
nope. there has been development on the web version, but for now SU pro still requires a mouse for optimal use
well, yeah, but a mouse is also more efficient than a trackpad so…
