TR pro V2 buying

I’m looking for someone who has a licensed Twilight Render Pro V2 to sell.

Try brighter 3D, it’s way better than Twilight, it gives you free lifetime updates with their permanent license and unlike Twilight, it runs on newer sketchup versions.

I know, I got a licensed Brighter 3D (unfortunately). First, I think from experience that Twilight render was better arranged for use, and secondly Brighter 3D seems to be incompatible with a computer with an AMD Ryzen processor because it keeps crashing so it’s not of any help. The author promised to fix it in the next version so I’m waiting. But so far nothing from Brighter 3D even though I have it.

Yes. TR is no longer distributed, but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. In my opinion, TR fully meets all my needs in my work as an architect. V Ray, Enscape and similar renderers are in my opinion too complicated for what I need, and I don’t want to waste time to get something with them that is essentially not much different from what I get with TR, That’s why I asked if anyone has a licensed version of TR Pro V 2,0 for sale Regarding the question of whether I use cracked SU. No, I have an annual license for SU Pro

Rayscaper can also render using cpu, it doesn’t matter if it’s intel or amd, it also supports nvidia gpu’s but it’s not necessary to have an nvidia gpu to be able to render with Rayscaper.

Twinmotion has not been mentioned here yet. It compares OK with Enscape and is free if your turnover is less than $1M/year.

Folks, if I may note, the topic is buying a licensed TR, and this has gone in a completely different direction with the talk about VRay, Enscape, Rayscaper, Twinmotion and what not. So I know about all the possible replacements, some of them I have installed, but I’m not interested in that as much as I’m interested in TR, I think I wrote why. I’ve tried VRay and Rayscaper and Twinmotion and a bunch of others, but compared to TR, in my humble opinion, they are too complicated to use compared to the results I get with them and the results I get with TR.:slightly_smiling_face:

If you do find a license, make sure that you download the 2024 sunset update.

See this post (by me) …

… and to get the extension working in versions later than 2024, either manually migrate the extension, or use the SketchUp Extension Migrator tool. In the same topic thread (above) but further down, another member posted how they got TR working in SketchUp 2025.

Also, a question… does anyone have Brighter 3D installed on a laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor? I have the licensed version but it keeps crashing so it’s not of any use.

Did you delete your other account for some reason? I thought you asked this before without much luck?

Yes, I deleted my previous account because everything went wrong during registration, so it was easiest for me to delete it. Why is that important?

It looks suspicious. We get quite a bit of spam bots, AI, and other bullshit here. It’s not important to you, but it is noticed by people on here who try to help others every day. When we see duplicate posts and similar avatars / names… etc some of us take notice.

Good luck with your renders.

I don’t think I’m smart enough to be an AI bot.

Not being smart is a prerequisite to be an AI bot isn’t it ?

It’s an ambiguous statement almost in the sense of Schrodinger’s cat. Isn’t it? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi eLaCiD,
I have a licensed copy of Twilight Pro, & all their add ons I paid for too, Fast Forward Denoiser, Render-to-Texture, Render Terrain, but what you are asking is not possible.

I’ve used twilight for 10yrs and was in the same boat as you and spent a ton of time trying to get my own licenses working again. I had to upgrade my computer and had a new install of windows but your license is tied to the original windows install of when you request your activation code. So even tho I have my license code and activation code they don’t work.

In my free time I have been trying to decode using debugger tools how that code is generated and have made some progress there are a few areas in your registery that twilight looks up to generate the number. I found 2 but not all of them.

Anyway I spent 3 weeks on that before it forced me to try new programs, I tested a bunch. The one I landed on is D5 Render which is pretty amazing, very happy with it. Twilight does have a specific look that I love though and I do still want to get working some day but it’s way less of a priority for me. Send me a DM if you want to continue what I’ve been doing, and I can fill you in.

I also have almost every version of twilight saved and I did get the last version to work on sketchup 2024 and now 2025. See this thread and my message of how to do that.

Goodluck!
