Hi- I’m taking the new sketchup course and doing the unit on drawing tools. When I deploy the offset I get a tiny red circle near the cursor that appears when I hover close to an edge, and the offset function doesn’t work. when I open other models this doesn’t happen. And many other tools work in this file, but not offset. What’s going on?
Most likely the surface is divided into more than one face. Turn on hidden geometry and look for hidden or softened edges. Offset works on the edges of only one face.
