"this does not appear to be a sketchup model" error Sketchup 2025

Can someone please help me? Yesterday my SketchUp file was working fine, but now it shows the error “this does not appear to be a SketchUp model” and I can’t open or work on it at all. I tried changing the .skb file to .skp, but that didn’t work. Does anyone know about this?

FIle is completely empty.

sorry mate. was it stored locally ? on a cloud ? on a usb drive ?

I didn’t save it in the cloud. It was only on my personal desktop. Thank you, my friend.
