"The subscription server response is invalid"

I’ve been working on an existing SketchUp model for the last couple of hours and saving periodically with no errors, but when trying to create a new document I’m greeted with the message:
The subscription server response is invalid - You can continue to use SketchUp, but you will not be allowed to start a new file or open an existing file
Also, a couple of times the message 'We are experiencing technical difficulties" (or similar) appeared…

I’m logged in and the Subscription Status is marked as Active.

I’m been working on a Mac Mini M1 for the few weeks without issue.

What’s going on?! Has anybody seen this before?

There’s been an outage of the lic server a while back. This error is because of that. simply sign out and sign back in, and it should be fine again.
