Add multiple images
To copy and paste anything in a specific place is very difficult with the new move icon. You used to be able to copy and place something pick your insertion point and move the placed item from that point and then the item would be pasted from that point. Well it don’t work that way anymore. There isn’t enough precision in the new move tool to precisely pick a point to insert the copied item.

you… still can. pick your insertion point.
select the object, use the move tool, click on your insertion point, add a dash of ctrl or alt on a mac, and it’s making a copy from that specific point.
trust the inferences. zoom in ont he points and move your cursor until the point get snapped. Often, when I train people who tell me they can’t grab something, they are simply too far for SU to know what to grab.
