The file won't open

hi I have file that i can’t open because, i think, it’s too big for my computer. This append after i inserted some lights from v-ray. Can someone help me ?

yeah, that is a big file.

It may be that you just have to wait a really long time for it to open - if you are just seeing a spinning icon.

edit:

It opened ok and very quickly for me, just having a look to see if there is anything obvious as to why it’s not working - there must be some very big textures or components here - as it doesn’t look like the file should be so large

It’s more likely that you imported everything you found in 3D Warehouse at high resolution (models, textures), didn’t Purge it, and didn’t use groups and components for what you’re creating.

You don’t need to create such detailed geometry (columns, ceiling, etc). Orient the faces correctly (white facing outwards) if you intend to render.

This isn’t painted black…

SketchUp doesn’t mind so much actually, the engine is so much better than it used to be!
