Oh, now that is an easy question to answer, … No. (Since you are not the original poster, and in your initial post you said “I too am having the same issue.” There are at least 2 of “sufferers”.) 
Seriously, I do remember similar posts over the years in all the SketchUp forums that there have ever been.
You really wanted to ask if this was a known issue.
Since you are dealing with a large file, perhaps it suffers the same fate as this bug …
… so check your “Temp” directory.
You might check to see what color setting the file would use. (Is it writing 32-bit color? etc.)
EDIT, The Actual Workaround: The AVI file will be written to your "%LocalAppData%/Temp" folder as "video.avi" .
Until they fix the copy to destination part of the command, you’ll have to copy and rename it yourself.
