Taper outer surface of two different diameter tubes that are joined together

I’m trying to make an adapter that will create a smooth transition from one diameter tube to a larger diameter tube. The two tubes fit together (smaller diameter into the larger diameter) but the wall thickness of the larger diameter tube creates a sharp shoulder that needs to be a tapered fit.
---------|______ ----------_______
_____|----------- ______/------------

Something like that but a MUCH more gradual taper.
The wall thickness of each diameter of the adapter needs to be about 2 to 3 MM thick
Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Hard to tell from your “sketch” but I’d consider drawing a cross section profile and using Follow Me around a circle.

You posted in the SketchUp Free (web) category but your profile says you are using SketchUp 2016 Make. Which one are you actually using?

Thank you very much for the “Wakeup Call” I guess my brain was on holiday because I should have thought of that myself.
I have been using Sketchup Make for some time (Last version was 1017) which I still use for my wood working projects and that is how I made table legs etc.
I acquired a 3D printer a while back and this adapter will be my forth project so still very new with Sketchup Web and your solution just never popped into my 77 year old head.
Thanks again
Richard

Guess I had better go in and update my profile!!!
