I’m trying to write CO2 in a Layout text tag (a “label”). When I copy it and paste it into Layout, it appears as “CO2” and when I enter the code Alt + 8322 a square appears. I’m using Arial Regular 6 pt. Does anyone know how I can get it to work, or is this not available in Layout?
You should be able to select the letter and then Text > Baseline > Subscript.
This works in 2025 but I have just discovered in 2026 that when you are edit mode for a text box, clicking Text in the top menu bar selects all the text, which of course should not happen.
I have reported this bug to SketchUp.
