Strange look on curved objects

Hi, I just bought -and am new to SketchUp Pro. This is the second day I am trying to draw. But all the sudden my drawing goes awry. It looks to me that it has something to do with a kind of view. But I don’t seem able to find the cause. Undo didn’t help unfortunately.
Perhaps anyone has an idea how this is named and how one can disable viewing all those speks on curved faces?

In the View menu, turn off Hidden Geometry.

Oh whow, thát simple. Thánk you!
I almost wanted to start over again

Starting over wouldn’t have fixed this if Hidden Geometry was turned on.

And you’re welcome.

Good point either; thanks

Side note: Hidden geometry lets you visually see how those “simple” organic shapes you have downloaded from the 3DWarehouse like the blanket and shower and toilet, are actually made up of thousands of tiny straight edges. If you continue to indiscriminately populate your model with lots of these items it will soon bog down your model as sketchup struggles to calculate all those edges. Something to be aware of and watch out for. :+1:
