When I first launched the desktop version of SketchUp I was taken to a page that displayed basic mouse navigation and this page had several different charts for the type of mouse and or track pad.
Are you thinking of the Quick Reference Card? See this page and scroll down a bit. Or maybe you are referring to the Instructor which you can enable in the Window menu.
Which version of SketchUp are you really using? Your profile shows contradictory information.
I have downloaded SketchUp 2018 Mac Desktop Free version.
That was not the page, I thought the page had opened up in my web browser at the launch of SketchUp 2018. Upon the initial launch the 30 ProTrial kicked in, and then I was taken to a text tutorial that was talking about how to use a mouse with SketchUp, there were 3-5 black and white charts (1 per device) that showed basic navigation tips based on what type of mouse or track pad or a tablet was being used.
Ultimately what I am looking for is a gesture guide for using a Wacom Intros Tablet and Pen and Finger Gestures. - Also weather or not there is any additional setup needed to use the Wacom Tablet with SketchUp, was confused with an article that made repeated mention of needed Orbit (what ever orbit is).
There is no free version of SketchUp 2018. There is only SketchUp 2018 Pro. The free options are SketchUp 2017 Make or SketchUp Free which is web-based, not a desktop client. So I still don’t know what version of SketchUp you are using.
I don’t remember ever seeing anything for a desktop version that shows gestures to use with SketchUp. Certainly that’s never been displayed in any of the desktop version I’ve used. (And I’ve used every one since V3.)
Ok, So I have double checked, I loaded 2018 Pro, will be removing this afternoon and reloading with 2017 Make.
I skimmed the window last night, and then closed it assuming that I could easily re-open it from the help menu or the Getting Started pages. I was a bit surprised to see it as my friend who showed SketchUp to me was talking about the challenges of using a tablet or track pad he has previously had. Thought that would be great to bring back up once I had completed a few of the beginner exercises. - Teach me to not print immediately.
