If you need to install a lot of venetian blinds brackets, it might help to make a spacer drill guide. How many of you have made swiss cheese out of the window frame before you got the brackets placed right? It’s also helpful to have a drill guide for drilling straight holes. Here’s what I came up with for adjustable sized windows:
