When I try to update to the latest version of sketchup 25.0.006 I download the software and when I press continue it crashed the computer without installing the software. I have tried this on 9 separate occasions and the same problem occurs each time. What do I do to resolve this please?
After you download the latest version of SketchUp 2025, find the installer in your Downloads folder. Right click on it, choose Run as administrator, and let the installer run. Make sure you’ve closed SketchUP and LayOut first.
It might also be a good idea to download the “Offline” installer and run it using @DaveR 's right-click method. The crash might be happening at the point when the installer tries to import its missing pieces (like Microsoft components) from the Net. The Offline version has all the pieces already incorporated.
