Skimp 2.0 is now available featuring the ability to import and simplify GLB, glTF, USDz, and SKP. We’ve also added a bunch of quality-of-life improvements and bug-fixes. I’ve updated the YouTube video in the first post to showcase the new version.

Why import SKP with Skimp?

  • Preview and simplify before importing
  • Import only faces and edges (no section planes, dimensions, text, or images)
  • Skimp won’t import unused components so your model size stays small as possible
  • Great for inserting low-poly visual reference models

What would you like to see in the next version?
