Sketchup will not open mac os Monterey and apple software renderer issues

I have been using sketchup 2021 for over a year or so with no real problems, I am using a macbook pro 2012 and i just updated my mac os to Monterey 12.4 and now i cant even get into sketchup, it gives me the message about “Apple software renderer” and " hardware acceleration is possibly disabled" i downloaded sketchup 2022 and its the same. Please help what do i do?
I have a single Intel GPU 3mb and as i said it used to work fine

There should not be a problem with running SketchUp 2022 on Monterey 12.4 (I am doing so). I assume you installed it correctly by dragging the SketchUp icon onto the Applications folder icon in the dmg and the closed and ejected the dmg? I’ve never seen or heard of those messages, so I can’t offer any more specific advice about them,

Exactly what model of MacBook Pro are you using? Is it an M1 version? If so have you downloaded and installed the M1 native version of SketchUp?

I have installed the application as you say, i had already had sketchup 2021 installed on my machine and never had an issue.
I have a A1278 macbook pro 13.3" 2012, Intel core i5
i have attached a screenshot of the message that appears.

According to Apple that model of MacBook Pro is not supported by macOS Monterey. It is likely that is the source of your problem.

I don’t think so. I have the same problem after upgrading and mine is from 2021 with M1 chip. I guess SketchUp is not fully compatible at the moment, unfortunately.
