Sketchup Welcome Screen is Blank

Hi, I’ve had used Sketchup several times before for a while now and wanted to open a free trial for school work, but I encounter this white screen every time I open the program. Its still working as I am able to click on my profile (on the top right) and “add classic license” but cannot do anything else.

I have gone through several posts from the community and attempted.
These include:

  • rename/delete Cache
  • Reinstall and Uninstall
  • Opening as administrator and “repair”
  • checking account Activation status
  • Identifying lost tab (alt+space and “M”)
  • opening a SKP file
  • update driver
  • using sketchup 2023

but unfortunately at no luck.

Note: I have a Windows 10, Nvidia GTX 1660 SUPER, Intel Core

If there is anyone that knows what is going on please let me know, Thank you.

Update: after many other attempts, I had fixed the issue by updating to the newest 2024 version.

If anyone else has this similar problem, this had seemed to work.

yes, as far as I know, the free trial is on the latest version.

besides, yesterday sketchup’s website had some trouble and was under maintenance, since most of these pages are web interfaces, it could be an aftershock of the issue.

glad it’s working with 24 at least.

You can check the status of SketchUp web services through this page.

Suggestion: Bookmark it in your primary browser for later use.

The little person icon with the checkmark at upper right in your screenshot shows that SketchUp believes you are already signed on. That supports the notion offered by earlier posts that the problem was due to issues with the license manager at Trimble not providing the page correctly.
