sketchup studio contains sketchup pro, ipad, web, vray and a couple extra tools.
Sketchup Studio for students however doesn’t contain Vray. for that one you’ll have to go see what student discount they offer.
so sketchup for student is basically a big sketchup pro for half the price of a sketchup go.
and any paid plan contains sketchup for ipad + web. so you can get the student discount, it’ll be worth it.
