SketchUp Shop and importing a floor plan

Hello, I am trying to determine if SketchUp Shop is right for me or if I need to get SketchUp Pro.

I would like to create a model of a house for which I already have an image of the floor plan. I would like to import this floor plan as a starting point for the model. Is this possible in SketchUp Shop? Note that this is for a personal project so I would like to avoid getting Pro if Shop is enough.

It’s doable in SketchUp Free, SketchUp Make 2017, SketchUp Shop and SketchUp Pro 2018.

I already have an image of the floor plan.

As Geo says, you can do this in any version if it’s an image you have. You can import the image and trace over it to create the geometry from which you can raise the walls and make your model 3D.
