Sketchup Make Printing

I have downloaded sketchup make 2016 but cannot print. The Print scale category will not activate and when I try and print I get a Bug Splat – I have tried printing to pdf, to various sizes of paper and continue to get an error generation. I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled to see if the program had been corrupted. I don’t understand why the print scale won’t work. Any help would be appreciated.

Printing to scale to use as a template

I’m having infuriating problems trying to print a very basic model in scale. I’m using SU for personal use to make model templates for 1:76 model. i.e. I want to design in SU using the actual measurements then print out to 1:76 scale, then paste onto foam board as a template, then cut the foam board in accordance with the template.
