SketchUp Make 2017 - Keeps Crashing (MacOS Sierra)

Hi everyone! I am brand new to this forum, but I am in dire need of some help. I have Sketchup Make 2017 installed on my Macbook Pro (MacOS Sierra) and every single time I use the program, it crashes in the middle of my work and deletes everything I have worked on since the last “save”. I have no issues logging in / starting up the app, but I keep losing all my work (unless I click Save every minute). I have already uninstalled and reinstalled this many times, and the issue keeps coming back. Any ideas what could be happening?

Mystery crashes on Mac are most often due to misbehaving extensions/plugins. What do you have installed? You can try disabling them to see if that makes the problem go away.

And give us some key word you write in your comments or your email (if Bugsplat is catching them and you’re submitting them), and we’ll look at your crashes. What version macOS?

Are you using a 3D Connection mouse by any chance? I had to stop using mine and delete all the software.

Thank you so much! I am going to try and delete / disable my active extensions

I am using sierra. Have you seen or heard of other users experiencing these crashes?

I am not, but thank you for the suggestion
