Sketchup Layout not Showing Section Plane or Guidelines

@natebaba you didn’t specify that you were wanting to see inactive sections edge on. As @bmike indicated, there is a bug related to that which still doesn’t appear to be fixed in LO 2025. Active section planes will be displayed as I showed in my screenshots the other day.

Dave R, somehow I’ve lost my gains; I am ignorant about your assertion here, about ‘inactive sections edge’ as I am just trying to have my suite produce the same effects as the instructional lessons… I did install and run SU '25 Pro and revert to the Classic graphics but same problem with not seeing the section .. though now I CAN see the guidelines in SU, awesome, but I am not reproducing the same happy result with the section and section labels. I tried this a second time, a couple weeks after the first time I tried, and with reopening the file with standard “Classic” graphics enabled, after closing and discarding, and rendering in Hybrid…

I am slowly plodding along here. I am revisiting your answer from a few weeks ago. When I look at the file with the style window in mind, I do not see the same options as you for the UI, but toggling through the camera I see ortho has an effect, but nothing I can discover in camera or styles changes the fact that I cannot see the sections labled in Layout, though I CAN in SU.
